Each of us possesses years of experience in successful careers in direct marketing itself and have worked together as consultants for over 20 years. Our skills are complementary and include all aspects of direct marketing: merchandising, presentation, inventory management; marketing, e-commerce, telemarketing; customer service, operations, finance and information technology. This range of exposure allows for a quick identification of the real issues and the formulation of practical solutions to address them. The advantage to our clients is a comprehensive and fully integrated view of each business situation.

  Wes DeVries
  Wes founded the group in 1981. He oversees all engagements and concentrates on strategy with special focus on merchandising, marketing, and communications. Before becoming a consultant, he was Vice President of Gillette’s New Business Development Group. Earlier in his career, Wes gained much of his experience with Lane Bryant’s Mail Order Division. Starting as a buyer, his responsibilities eventually included all categories of merchandising and marketing as well as inventory management, catalog presentation and production. He also led major information systems initiatives in support of these functions. Wes attended Baruch College in New York City.

  Guil Spencer
  Guil has been with the group since 1983 and has worked with virtually all of our 200+ clients. He concentrates on quantitative and technical elements of direct marketing with particular emphasis on marketing, finance, e-commerce, and information systems. Prior to joining the group, Guil was General Manager of Duncraft. Earlier in his career he was with both Talbots and General Mills Specialty Retailing Group. Guil graduated summa cum laude from Kenyon College with a BA in Economics and Mathematics and received his MBA from Harvard Business School.

  Dave Feller
  Dave has been with the group since 1990 and brings expertise in credit as a marketing tool, customer service, operations, planning, e-commerce, and information systems. He developed our systematic audit of website functionality. Prior to joining the group, Dave was Vice President Catalog for Bergdorf Goodman. Earlier in his career he was Vice President Credit Marketing for The Limited and Vice President Marketing and Operations for American Express. Dave graduated from City College of New York and received his MA from the University of California at Berkeley.

  Ann Zerebniak
  Ann has been with the group since 1989 and helped develop our Growth Planning Model. She concentrates on financial models, circulation plans, and a wide range of business analyses. Prior to joining the group, Ann was Operations Manager at Hog Wild!. Earlier in her career she was a Financial Analyst at Talbots. Ann graduated from the University of Akron, magna cum laude, with a BA in Economics.
